Description
Þingvallavegur, or Thingvallavegur in English, is the name of the Route 36, a primary road in Suðurland, one of the eight regions of Iceland.
This road is 68 km long and it mainly connects Reykjavík to Thingvellir, where the Thingvellir National Park is located. Therefore, as one of the three primary stops of the Golden Circle touristic route, this road is widely used yearly.
