Description
Angelica archangelica, or most commonly known as garden angelica and Norwegian angelica, is a biennial plant that grows wild in Northern Europe (mostly in Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Greenland and the Faroe Islands).
This herb is nowadays much appreciated in cooking but has also been highly esteemed as a medicinal remedy in many cultures due to its aromatic root.
